The City approached the property owners about a new traffic signal at an inappropriate location for the asset. This was the catalyst for years of negotiation with the City and local Community Group, leading to redevelopment of the center, including a new signalized intersection at an appropriate location, parking lot reorientation to add stalls, and demolition and construction of pad buildings around the corner of the signalized intersection.
